captain's log...stardate November 20th 2005.
everything has been going quickly since the summer.
there's klingons and borgs at school they keep it interesting...and give me something to look at. classes at SFU have been fun, I've met a few new/old people and managed to attend some classes at the same time. Profs are alright, and it's almost time to register for spring06. It's going to be one heck of a semester, but hopefully it won't be too bad. I've wet my pallet for university life, and it's time to have a feast of knowledge. haha.
I went to watch Finding Nemo on ice last night. It was...interesting to say the least. It was really weird, and I prefer my fish in water, and without skates. Speaking of fish! I think I'm going to start a tank focused on underwater foliage, as well as shrimp (freshwater variety)! They're so cool to watch and to breed. It'll be my xmas project I think. Hopefully that'll keep my mind on the loss of my long friend Newton. He was my Japanese Firebelly newt that was with me since my birthday back in 98. As odd as it sounds, he's helped me through many difficult times, always there to listen to me babble away in my room to myself. He did the craziest shit off the top of his palm tree...made funny noises...pigged out on bloodworms...he was truly all that you could ask for in a best friend....and more. I'll miss him terribly. This whole year was tough for loss of animal life. Both my newts, and my blue crayfish (lobster) all passed away.

Christmas is coming up. I'd have to say that I'm looking more forward to some time off, rather than the whole hub-ub about the holidays. However I say that now, but who doesn't get a little excited when they see gifts underneath a tree (or where ever you like to store your gifts) with your name on it. I've managed to get some shopping done, (...or have I?...) and there's more to be done. I think the part I like the best about the holiday is getting back together with friends, and hanging out with 'em.
I think that's it.
